I have worked on computational drug design, protein structure prediction, and the implementation of machine learning approaches to solve biological and chemical problems. Earlier, I worked in a Pharmaceutical R&D in the Computational Biology Division and was engaged in developing protocols for the identification of new target molecules. My first post-doctoral research was on the design of small peptides to stop insulin aggregation. During my doctoral research, I was involved with the protein folding team where I worked to design scoring functions to identify good protein models. I have published 14 original research articles in internationally reviewed journals and 1 book chapter. I have also filed one Indian patent in the biotherapeutic domain.
